There's a kind of tiredness that doesn't fix up sleeping. That tiredness of holding things all day long: messages, tasks, family, work, emotions... and trying to be okay.
Sometimes we're not "bad," but we're overflowing. And for me, there's no need for more. You need to go home. Back to the body. To sit on the inside again.
If you like nature and you're one of those who notice energy, there are two wonderful allies that I use to recover calm: nature and Reiki. Two different ways... with the same fate: you.
I'm sure it's happened to you: you're tense and you walk out, you see trees, it gives you the air, you listen to the sea... and something replaces. Nature does not require you to explain anything or make it perfect. It reminds you: "breathe, you're here." Sometimes it is enough to look at a plant, feel the sun on the skin, or step on the ground for a few minutes for the body to loosen and the mind to lower the volume.
Reiki has something I love: it doesn't depend on being in a special place. It's a tool you can use in real life, as it is. You can turn to Reiki when you notice it accelerated or with anxiety, when you are about to enter a situation that imposes you, when you come with a saturated head after screens or a day to a thousand, when you are removed by a conflict or by the energy of other people, or when you are tired at night but it is hard to disconnect.
And what happens next? Many women notice that breathing becomes slower, that the mind stops running so much, that the body feels more present and yours, and that it lowers that internal tension that accumulates without warning. Sometimes Reiki is perceived as a soft warm, sometimes as emotional relief, and sometimes as a simple but powerful feeling. And if one day you don't feel much, it's also normal: you don't always feel the same, but the later one usually brings more inner calm.
The most beautiful thing about Reiki, for me, is that she doesn't ask you to be perfect for using it. You can be tired, sensitive, saturated... and still go with yourself. It's like telling you: "I don't leave you alone in this, I come back to you." And that, in a world that pushes us to endure, is an enormous act of love.
If you are also one of those who regulate with nature, Reiki becomes even more special, because the body already understands that language: softness, presence, return to the natural rhythm. There are days when with an open window, a plant nearby, a little bit of light... and Reiki... you already feel that calm that took hours to get back.
This month I am sharing a lot of Reiki because I see it clearly: many women are living in "stamina" and deserve tools that are with them and that do work day by day. If you want to learn it with me, you can write me and I'll tell you the details of the course. 🤍
