Today I want to talk to you about something that is often overlooked: the meditation.
That simple practice. — Sit, breathe, come back to you — that can actually change everything.
And yes, also when we talk about health, even issues as delicate as the cancer.
For a long time I thought meditation was something "soft," "spiritual" or "complementary."
But over the years, experience and reading, I understood that is a powerful tool to hold the body, mind and soul in any process.
There are scientific studies that already support it:
🪷 A study published in BMC Cancer shows that meditation improves the quality of life, the emotional and cognitive function of people with cancer.
🪷 Other research in PubMed found that in women with breast cancer, meditation reduced stress, fatigue and regulated cortisol levels.
- Y a recent bibliometric analysis shows that there is growing scientific interest in this issue.
So... why don't you talk about this any more?
Because sometimes, what It really empowers the human being. It's not that much "up."
And that, honestly, moves me.
Because I was skeptical, too.
It was hard to believe that staying still for a few minutes could bring so much clarity or relief.
Until one day I really needed it.
And there I understood: meditation does not save you from pain, but Teach you to go through it with love.
To reconnect with your inner strength when body or life is staggering.
So, if you're in a moment of change, of search or you just want to take care of yourself more deeply,
remember: breathing is medicine.
Your mind, your energy and your cells know that.
And if you want, I can send you one tomorrow. special meditation to reconnect with you in those days when the body or heart are tired.
Would you like that?
With all my love,
Irene
