Then I took one of the greatest moths of my life where I didn't know how it had happened, but my body had told me enough. At that time, I thought I didn't know, but at the time I started to observe all the alarms and signs I had been receiving. My bike was stolen while I was sleeping, preventing me from moving so much, but I was still. I fell off the bar hurting my leg, thought it was nothing and going to a fisio would fix it. And so with all the points. He had already received warnings that it would stop but it would not stop.
Something inside me felt strong. I felt like I wanted to make it different. Until that moment I had been doing and living under it I have to, I must have... and above all, I had been doing what others told me was right.
I sat down and started to observe every move I made in my life and invested my energy.
- College Primary Professor: Did I really like her? Was she making me happy? Did he see me do the way others did? NO
- College Art Coordinator: Was I fascinated? Was I being recognized for the work? Did you know other people who could make it different or devote more focus to it? Yes
- He taught extra-school Spanish for foreigners: did he fill me with energy? Did he enjoy his learning? Yes
- He was a male dance dancer three times a week: what did he want to get? Did he really need so many training? NO
- I was preparing a show with a group of dancers in a professional way: was it an area I liked? Did I want to spend more or less time? More time
- He helped an artist in his Gallery and helped me develop my love for art through the brush and colors: did this time recharge me with energy or drain me? He recharged me.
- He taught almost every weekend in other countries that was not where I lived: was it worth so much travel, the stress of having to unpack and do it again? Yes
- And in case I felt it was little, I got in to do some auditions as a soprano singer on a coral: was it time to throw myself at a coral? NO
With all this work and visualizing those answers. I asked myself one last question: What now?
You want me to tell you? See you at the next entrance.
With love,
Irene 🌻
